  1. My name is Florencia. I am from Rosario and I am studying to be an English teacher. I have decided to take this course in order to improve my English speaking, expand my vocabulary and to avoid grammatical mistakes.
I think this course will help me in my future plans because if I improve my English language, I will be able to take my studies more easily in the Profesorado, and may be I will can achieve a successful result in the Language final exam at the end of the year.
I realise it will be useful for all of us, because we will acquire new information and more specific vocabulary as well as we will speak more fluently.
It is a good opportunity to continue learning this interesting language and to enlarge our knowledge.

    Bye! =)

  2. It seems I'm the first one... All right, lets get this started.

My name is Hernán Gómez, I was born and raised in Rosario, Argentina, and that raising still carries on here, after 27 years, now nearing 28.

I'm taking the CAE course in order to get some practice in the language, since the last english related activity I did (besides reading and listening to music and tv shows and such, which I do quite a lot) was a CAE preparation course back in 2004 or so... And I didn't even sat for the exam back then... I don't really know why...

And practice apart, I'm even considering sitting for the exam this time around. I have this crazy fixation with visiting Ireland, and I would like to do so with a job, so I can stay there for a while and get to know the country thoroughly. Well, I think having an international degree of the CAE level would help quite a lot to that goal (not to mention that my FCE degree dates from 1998).

Right, I think thats been quite enough for now. I'll share more with you all later. It's your turn to post now.

  3. Thanks for starting this off, Florencia and Hernán!

It's great to see you on board and hear about your plans and dreams. I'm pretty sure you'll succeed in realising them.

Now I wonder who will be the next one to pluck up the courage and take the plunge here :-))

  4. My name is Clarisa. I’m from Rosario, Argentina. I'm taking the CAE because I think it will help me to improve mi writing skills and also to gain more fluency in speaking. Besides I’m interested in learning new vocabulary. All of this in an entertaining way and without so much pressure… I believe this course would help me to progress in my studies as a future English teacher and will enhance my general knowledge. I’m really glad to be taking a course in the institute again because there is the place where all began.
I hope we to enjoy this year and to achieve our goals!

  9. Hi everyone! I am Antonella and I'm from Rosario.
The main reason why I'm taking this course is because I want to improve my english skills, such as fluency in speaking and listening. I am in the 5th and last one year at secondary school, and next year I'm going to go to university but I don't know what to study yet, and the Traductorado is one of the options. So I think that taking part in the CAE will help me a lot for the university in case I decide to start the Traductorado. Moreover, I don't want to lose the languaje because I really like it.
See you in a few days!
    bye

  11. Hi. My name is Danisa and I'm 23 years old. I'm studying to become an English teacher at the Olga Cossettini Institute and, hopefully, this year is my last one there. Actually this year I was going to do the Profficiency course but, as it is really time-consuming and I still have to attend university, I decided to do the C.A.E so as to keep and improve my level of English.
Well, I hope we can learn a lot this year!
    See you

  12. Hi, my name is Javier, I'm 20 years old and I am from Rosario.
I decided to take this course in order to improve my level of english and I expect this will make things easier for me if i am able to pass the antrance exams to study to be a translator.
I also expect this course to provide me with the necessary practice so as not to forget the every day grammar, which i think is not being taken into account by the english careers in this city.
    That's all. See you.

  13. Hello everybody! My name is Mariela, but I prefer my nickname "Malu". I'm 22 years old and I'm from Rosario.
Last week I took the entrance exam at the Olga Cossetini institute, because I want to be a Translator. I passed the written exam but I didn’t approve the oral one. The next 30th of March I will take another entrance exam, but now at the Houssay institute, for the Profesorado. If I’ll pass it, I will take the subjects that are similar to traductorado. Because, I don’t want to waste time without studying the career I want.
Meanwhile, I am taking the CAE course because I am sure this will help me to improve my English, and also it will give me a lot of new vocabulary. What I don’t know yet is if I will do it in one or two years, because I know that if I do this course in one year I will have to study a lot.
Well see you at the institute, (and sorry for the mistakes!)
    Bye

    MALU

  14. Hello!! My name is Veronica. I'm 26 years old and I live in Rosario.
I started to study english when I was 8. In 2003 I took the CAE course but I didn't sit for the exam because I felt I was't ready to pass it. Now. I have decided to take this course again because I really like this language and I think that the CAE course will help me to improve my knowledge and to build up my everyday vocabulary.
Taking this course is something that I've really wanted to do as a leisure activity, without pressure. that's why I am not interested in sitting for the final exam...But, who knows???...

  16. Hi! My name is Iván, I'm 19 years old and I'm from Rosario.
First of all, I'm taking this course in order to improve my knowledge of English and expand my vocabulary. But also to have another certificate apart from the FCE. The last year I took a BEC course at university but it was useless because the teacher wasn't prepeared for that. So I didn't sit for the final exam.
Personally, I belive this course would help me to speak more fluently and to get a more specific vocabulary.
    Thats all. See you.
